Welcome to the Intentional Athlete Experience. An all-inclusive immersive in-person event guiding you towards a more intentional pursuit of strength. This event is curated specifically for those athletes seeking more than just PRs for their lifts. Our pursuit of physical strength can and must strengthen all other areas of our lives!

Event Overview
November 7-9th, 2025
Beyond Basics, Into Mastery:
Most seminars focus on lifting mechanics and programming, leaving out crucial mental and emotional tools for peak performance. Our seminar integrates mindset training with advanced techniques, offering a holistic approach that goes beyond the basics. It is through that integration that allows us to gain more than just weight on the bar. You'll learn more about yourself in ways that help you skillfully navigate training and life. We emphasize intentionality and balance, teaching attendees how to harness effort and ease, resulting in sustainable growth without burnout.
This is an all inclusive event with meals and lodging provided. That way we can maximize the time we have together for learning and growth. In the schedule we'll have community discussions, lectures, training sessions and hands on MindBody work during our time together.

Night 1 - Friday, 6:00 PM Start time
CULTIVATING YOUR WHY
Settle in, check in, and feel free to jump into a training session if you'd like. Attendees are welcome to arrive early. We'll officially kick things off with a community dinner prepared by your hosts. After dinner, we’ll dive into the core of what brings us together. Many people ask about our WHY, but most struggle to answer, having never intentionally cultivated this part of their strength journey. How do we develop that why? It doesn’t just appear on its own. We must intentionally CREATE it through thoughtful action and purpose!


Day 2 - AM Session: 7:00 - 10:00 AM
MOVEMENT and TENSION
As the saying goes, motion is lotion. We'll start the day by exploring some movement practices. It's important for our health and durability that we have access to a healthy range of motion. This also increases kinesthetic awareness. Our community-based breakfast will follow that. Then Vanessa and Ross will be presenting on TENSION. Learning the difference between active & passive tension, what creates it, and how to use it in your training and life.
Day 2 - Mid Day Session: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
TRAINING and ENTRAINMENTS
At this point, we'll split into two smaller groups. One group will train — with intention, of course — alongside Ross, going through an SBD powerlifting session to learn actionable steps for more focused and purposeful training. The other group will join Vanessa for entrainments.
After the sessions, we’ll take a break for those who need it, followed by our community lunch.

What is an Entrainment?
A NetworkSpinal entrainment is a gentle, precise technique designed to release tension patterns stored in the body and restore balance and coherence to the nervous system. Unlike traditional adjustments, entrainments work by using light touches at specific spinal points to help the body reorganize and self-correct, leading to improved energy flow and adaptability. For athletes, the benefits are significant: greater nervous system efficiency, enhanced recovery, and a higher capacity to handle physical and mental stress. This means faster adaptation to training, improved performance, and a reduced risk of injury, allowing athletes to reach new heights in both their sport and overall well-being.

Day 2 - Afternoon Session: 2:00 - 6:00 PM
INTENTIONAL TRAINING TOOLS
Once we've refueled with some proper nutrition, we'll be ready to move on to the next part: a presentation on intentional training. During this session, we'll discuss how intentionality applies not just to our workouts but also to the time when we're not training. What we do before and after our sessions matters, and learning to maximize that time is crucial. Following the presentation, we'll return to our morning groups and switch activities. One group with do an intentional training session while the other get to experience entrainments. As before, we'll aim for a 30-minute break at the end of this session for those who need it.
Day 2 - PM Session: 6:00 - Close
TRANSFORM ANXIETY into FUEL!
After dinner, we’ll sit down with fellow athletes, fueling up and strengthening the connections that push us to be better. We’ll gather around the fire to dive deep into the concept: Transforming Anxiety into raw Power and Fuel. It’s time to understand the critical difference between anxiety and excitement — and how mastering this shift can be the key to unlocking new levels of potential.
Unwind with an adult beverage and reward yourself with a s'more, because tonight isn’t just a meal; it’s a game-changer.


Day 3 - AM Session: 9:00 AM-Noon
INTEGRATION & CLOSING
After our community breakfast, we'll talk about how we can begin to integrate what we've learned. Exploring what works for YOU in your pursuit of strength. We will also use this time to have a closing Q&A session.
Vanessa will also be available to provide an additional entrainment following this final session.

HEY, I'M Ross!
At 12 years old, I discovered the weight room. Forged by Iron I have a passion to share all that I have gained with others.

Ross Leppala is the current 83kg Masters I IPF World Champion, renowned for his strength, discipline, and dedication to powerlifting. As a coach and the marketing manager with Reactive Training Systems, Ross combines his expertise in training with a strategic approach to his clients. A passionate public speaker with Toastmasters International, he brings inspiration and insight to audiences, sharing his journey and empowering others to pursue their best selves. He's also the host of the *Project Unchained* podcast, where he dives deep into topics of mental health, resilience, and personal triumphs. Outside of his professional pursuits, Ross is a dedicated homeschool dad, nurturing curiosity and resilience in his daughter.

HEY, I'M Vanessa!
From the age of four, I danced. That started my passion for movement and fueled my understanding of the human body.

Dr. Vanessa Gale is a Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in NetworkSpinal, committed to holistic healing through the mind-body-spirit connection. With a 200-hour certification in yoga instruction and expertise as a Somato Respiratory Integration Facilitator, Vanessa guides clients on a journey of alignment, resilience, and transformation. A seasoned USAPL Powerlifting Coach, athlete, and national referee, she combines her passion for strength and wellness to inspire others both on and off the platform. As a dedicated homeschool mom, Vanessa instills curiosity, strength, and purpose in her daughter, fostering a lifestyle of mindful learning and intentional growth.

The Space!
Let's take a quick look at where the event space. We're located about 45 minutes from the Atlanta International Airport. We'll be making use of our home space/gym, basement suite, and next door AirBNB for those choosing to stay on location during the seminar. Early check-in and extended stays are welcome. Please discuss with Ross to arrange special travel details.
